Scuba Diver

Shorter than the full Open Water Course, PADI Scuba Diver is a first diving diploma that allows you to dive to a maximum 40 ft. depth, under a PADI professional’s supervision. If you don’t have much time, it allows you to make the most of your vacations, without having to go through the training again before being able to dive again during your next vacations.

Why does PADI Scuba Diver exist ?
PADI Scuba Diver is a beginner diver certification, meant for vacationers or people who only want to dive a few times a year. PADI Scuba Diver is a part of the Open Water Diver program that will help you become a certified diver, quickly and easily. With your PADI Scuba Diver, you can dive under a Divemaster, Assistant Instructor or Instructor’s supervision, during your next vacations or during a dive trip.

What is needed to participate?

• Any healthy person, with a reasonably good physical condition, can get the PADI Scuba Diver certification,
• Children 10 to 14 can take the PADI Junior Scuba Diver,
• Minimum age is 10.
  

What will I learn?
As part of the course, you will learn the basics of scuba diving, of the dive gear and techniques. Your PADI Scuba Diver certification includes theory sessions, diving in a swimming pool and two dives in open waters in the sea.

The PADI programs are based on achievements; that means you will progress in the course as you master the objectives. This allows you to progress as quickly or slowly as you want.

What you need:

• PADI Open Water Crew Pack,
• PADI Open Water video,
• Log book.

After your Scuba Diver certification: you can continue your diving training to take your Open Water Course, to become an autonomous diver, to a maximum of 60 ft., and experience more diving freedom.
