After a 45-minute ferry ride from Playa del Carmen, you will dive on the famous sites of Palancar and Santa Rosa, discovered by Jacques Cousteau back in 1954.

The following dive gear is recommended to dive in Cozumel:

• 3 mm wetsuit,
• masks, fins, snorkel,
• regulator,
• classic BCD,
• dive computer, if you have one,
• a surface buoy may be necessary.
