A 20 to 25-minute boat ride will take you to this beautiful wall that starts at around 65 ft. and goes down to a maximum of 100 ft. Turtles, barracudas, stingrays, triggerfish and all the typical fauna of the Caribbean can be seen there. |

Small reef located 15 minutes by boat from the shore. The depth varies from 22 to 45 ft. There are many small things to see and discover among the rocks and the little coral formations. |

Located a 10-minute boat ride, at a maximum depth of 30 ft., this site is perfect to discover diving or for a leisurely, shallow second dive. |

This site is the closest one to the dive center (5 minutes by boat), and it is between 22 and 36 ft. deep. This site is really magnificent – a true aquarium – and it includes caves, a small wall (about 6 ft.) where it is easy to see morays, angel fish, parrotfish, etc… This site is ideal for beginners, training, refresher dives but also for night dives. |

Sabalos Max. depth : 50 ft. |
Located about 15 minutes south of Playa, at a maximum depth of 50 ft., this beautiful site has many caves with green morays, spotted morays, crabs and spider crabs. There is a great variety of fauna: angel fish, parrot fish, squirrelfish, triggerfish, etc. |

Barracuda Max. depth : 45 ft. |
Just a little farther than Sabalos, in front of Xcaret, this beautiful reef has a maximum depth of 45 ft. It is quite similar to Sabalos, with lots of light, and marine life. |

Tortugas Max. depth. : 40 to 165 ft. |
A 20 to 25 minute boat ride from Playa, this reef is a plateau that slowly goes down from 40 to 165 ft. This site has an amazingly high number of turtles, but it is also well known for its fauna: morays, crabs, spider crabs, barracudas, groupers, triggerfish, angelfish, parrotfish, rays, etc.. Depending on the time of year, there are also sharks and tarpons. The current can be very strong, so this site is only for certified divers or divers about to complete their Open Water training. |

Mama Viña - Wreck Max. depth: 90 ft. |
Located 25 minutes from Playa, this wreck was sunk in 1997. This boat used to connect Playa del Carmen and the island of Cozumel. The wreck lies on the sea bottom 90 ft. deep, and the top part of the boat is at 52 ft. The hull is totally covered with corals and sea fans and there is a small reef, about 10 ft. long, all around the boat. The wreck is teeming with marine life. The boat is located across the current, which makes this dive more difficult; it is therefore only for advanced or experienced divers. |

Punta Venado Max. depth : 115 ft. |
This site is located south of Playa del Carmen, 30 minutes away by boat. It is located between 65 and 115 ft. and it is a plateau that goes down slowly to the 165 ft. area. |

Cantil Max. depth: from 130 ft. |
All along the coast, it’s the departure point for all deep dives… from 130 to 260 ft. It is a vertiginous wall, on which it is common to find turtles, nurse sharks and even reef sharks. |
