The Riviera Maya region is the historical heart of the Mayan civilization and the land of an extremely rich culture.

From Playa del Carmen, you can visit the different archaeological sites of the Yucatan Peninsula. You will visit colonial cities founded by the Spanish conquerors, and ancient Mayan cities deep in the tropical jungle.

The geographical location of the Riviera Maya will also enable you to discover virtually virgin places.

That’s why we offer different tours by car, from 3 to 7 days, depending on your wishes. We will book a car, hotels, design an itinerary according to your wishes, and you are ready to travel on your own on the roads of Yucatan.

In three days you can explore the main Mayan sites, close to Playa del Carmen, such as Chichen Itza, the most famous one, and drive on to Merida, the capital city of Yucatan, famous for its hammocks and its market.

You can also visit the wonderful site of Uxmal and stop at Valladolid, where you will see the locals in their traditional Yucatan outfits, and visit its “zocalo” (main square), surrounded by pastel houses.

If you wish a longer tour, you can drive all the way to Palenque, one of the major Mayan sites in Mexico, in the jungle and at the foot of the Chiapas mountains, drive across wild areas on the way back and stop at Bacalar, to admire the “seven colors lagoon”.
