Come swim with the whale sharks

A unique and magical adventure… come swim with the giants of the sea! This day trip will take you to a paradise island, with white sand streets and coconuts, and a breathtaking land animals and submarine fauna.

You will board towards the open sea and arrive at a vast underwater plateau that rises at about 20 to 50 ft. depth. A unique concentration of plankton is formed there, due to the warming of the water and the action of different ocean currents. Whale sharks and manta rays gather in this area, rich in food, during 3 to 4 months. This is a unique opportunity to get to know these peaceful and mysterious animals. This is a snorkeling tour (fins, mask, snorkel), so it is also possible to non divers to swim very close to the largest fish in the world.

You will also probably see manta rays, dolphins and turtles during this unique day trip.

The guides and captains of the boats that will take you there are specially trained to count and check markings on the different whale sharks. They send this information to a world data bank to help better understand the way of life of these unknown animals, as well as their migratory route.

Back on the island, you will enjoy a good meal of fresh fish, under a palapa roof, right on a white sand beach, followed by a siesta or a tour of the island in a golf cart.
You return to your hotel in the evening.
